Group Visits
We welcome Groups of all sorts (U3As, W.Is, Probus clubs etc), to visit the Museums, and have a room suitable for club meetings such as AGMs and children’s birthday parties. 'Pre-booked Groups of 10 or more benefit from a reduction of £1 in our normal rates so you only pay Adult £7, Concession (age 65 or over) £6.

School Visits
Educating and inspiring the next generation to have an interest in Oxfordshire's transport history is a key aim of ours. We, therefore, welcome visits from school groups (up to 30 children plus helpers/teachers) on Wednesdays.
Children pay the normal child entrance fee, teachers are admitted FREE.

Special Visits
We can open the museum for private parties by special arrangement (outside normal opening hours). A minimum charge of £120 applies.

“My son insisted he wanted to have his birthday party at The Oxford Bus Museum, and so we organised that for him! It turned out to be the perfect venue for it. The children (aged 4-9) were thoroughly engaged exploring the museum, especially the kid-sized bus they could climb into. The party space in the café area, which can be reserved for free, worked perfectly. We decorated it beforehand and used the microwave for party food. There was plenty of room for games, with a foldable wall separating the party room from the rest of the café. The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout, and they even invited the birthday boy to choose a gift from the shop.
